Mass Markdown
The Markdown feature of Retail Point of Sale has been enhanced to include the ability
to Markdown item lines from the POS Transaction Entry window en masse. Users may
now apply a percentage markdown to the unit price of one or more item lines in a
single action.
With the use of the new Markdown and Promotions visual cues, users are notified
if a promotion or prior markdown has been applied to the existing unit price which
allows the user to make an informed decision on whether or not to include the line
in the Mass Markdown process.
Once item lines have been selected for Mass Markdown, the adjusted unit prices are
calculated and the information is returned to the applicable lines in the POS Transaction
Entry window.
