Payments On Account
The Payment on Account feature of Retail Point of Sale has undergone a number of
enhancements to bring additional functionality to users while improving the overall
workflow. This feature is used to record payments made by Customers who typically
charge transactions to their account.
Payments may be recorded and left unapplied or users may elect to apply payments
to a specific invoice(s). An Auto-Apply function has been added to expedite processing
the transaction by automatically applying the payment to the oldest invoice(s).
In addition to processing payments, the Payment on Account window may be used to
review account balances for your “On Account” customers.
