Store Credits
Retail Point of Sale allows users to issue or redeem Store Credits. Use this feature
when Customers return merchandise and instead of refunding cash, issue a Store Credit.
The Issue Certificate window which is accessed from the Compass Products palette
or from the Payment window when processing a Return.
Using Store Credit will be familiar since the work flow for Store Credit is based
on the functionality of Certificates. When your Customer makes a Return, simply
process a Return document and choose Store Credit as your Tender Type.
Redeeming a Store Credit is just as simple. The process is similar to the redemption
of a Certificate.
